Nick and Joanne Korkmaz opened the doors of Kingsmill Jewelers of Williamsburg in 1989. The meeting of Nick's classic aesthetic with Joanne's background in art & design is seen in the jewelry Kingsmill Jewelers, a harmonious blend of elegance, fashion and beauty.
In 2011, the Korkmaz family decided to expand, opening a new store on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville, Virginia. Nick and Joanne's daughter Rachel, a graduate gemologist of the GIA diamonds and colored stones certification program, was thrilled to move to Charlottesville in order to work in the new shop.
